CRITICISM



As blooming teachers, criticism can profoundly impact students growth and development. As part of a B.Ed curriculum criticism classes were conducted on 26/6/2024 and 27/6/2024. In our criticism classes there are total 14 classes. There are constructivist based classes and teaching on models like concept attainment model, direct instruction model, Advance Organizer model, ICT model and activity lesson plan. After the end of each classes, Our sir and peer group made criticisms and suggestions regarding the class. Providing good introduction, giving proper explanation, usage of teaching aid and models, errors committed during the class were discussed at that time. Proper using of chart, sir recommended some colours to write on chart. and also he preferred using sticks to pointout chart details and not by using our hands. He gave us suggestions regarding making proper activities and activity cards for effective transaction of content to students. Teacher's movement, hand gestures, facial expression, teachers attitude, teacher-pupil relationship were also discussed in the criticism class.

 As part of B.Ed curriculum, I have to take criticism class for that I got activity lessonplan. I prepared an activity lesson plan for the story 'The Mysterious picture' of class 8. After my class sir and my tear group criticized my class by adding certain suggestion. My time management was really disappointing. I have failed to manage time and number of teaching aid were also less. And I skipped the step of follow-activity in my class. I was criticized for making a small error in activity card. Sir asked me to raise my voice to make it audible to the whole class. Criticism class help me to understand my strength and weakness. And also how to take a class which was effective and efficient.

SECOND PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 2

Week 3 starts from 11/112024. On this week I started a new chapter named "The Nightingale and the Rose". For introducing the lesson, I have shown a video of Nightingale and nature. The seemed more intrested, and curious to learn the story. Next day also, the students participated ain the whole class discussions  recalling details of the previous class. Overall it was a pleasant and beautiful week for me. 14/11/2024 CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATIONS As part of childrens day we student teachers gifted sweets to our beloved children. A small programme was organised in the school. Teaching practice Week 8

On 15/10/2024 Nadeem sir came to observe my class as second observation. To fever, I was not confident to take the class my voice is lesson sound but I manage to take the class as much as possible. after the class are sir gave both positive and negative feedbacks which was good for me. He suggested me to improve my time management after that I also feel that there are a lot to spaces to improve in my teaching I hope that I would improve all that as much as earlier. On16/10/2024, we planned to conduct a conscientisation program given by the college on the schools. On 18/10/2024 I have taken ICT class in 8th standard. While using ICT the students seemed more engaged and intrested. And I was also more confident enough to use interactive whiteboard effectively.
