E-CONTENT

  E-content, or electronic content, refers to digital learning materials designed to enhance the teaching and learning experience. It includes various formats such as e-books, PDFs, audio lectures, educational videos, animations, interactive quizzes, and online courses. E-content provides flexibility, allowing learners to access information anytime and anywhere, making education more accessible and engaging. It caters to different learning styles, encouraging self-paced learning and interactive participation. With advancements in technology, e-content is widely used in smart classrooms, online education platforms, and distance learning programs, transforming traditional education into a more dynamic and effective process. For E content development I created a video based on the topic question tags. 

COGNITIVE MAP

  A cognitive map is a visual representation of an individual's thoughts, ideas, and concepts, illustrating the relationships between them. In the context of English teaching, cognitive mapping is a powerful tool that enables students to organize, structure, and connect their ideas, promoting deeper understanding and critical thinking. By creating cognitive maps, students can visually represent complex concepts, identify patterns and relationships, and develop their analytical skills. In English language teaching, cognitive mapping can be applied to various areas, such as literary analysis, vocabulary building, and essay writing, helping students to better comprehend and internalize the material.  The unit taken for cognitive mapping were ' Braving the Hazards' and "Flights of Freedom".  The former unit contains 3 chapters, which includes a essay, story, and a poem. INNOVATIVE WORK

   As part of B.Ed curriculum I have to make an innovative work as part of my second phase teaching practice. Innovative works in teaching practice is very important because it emphasizes classroom engagement and interaction. It's  redefines traditional teaching methods to create a more engaging and adaptive and student learning environment. To enhance the understanding of Oscar Wilde's short story " The Nightingale and the Rose", I prepared a still model that visually represent the story itself. My goal was to provide a clear visual aid to depict significant events from the story. As I entered the classroom, I saw students pointing and smiling as a look in the still model. They explained the major events of the story using the Still model. Through that I understood their deeper understanding of the story, events and its theme. WEEK SIX OF TEACHING PRACTICE

 Last week of teaching practice starts from 9/12/2024. This week I conducted achievement test. On 10/12/2024, we planned to give our token of love to our teachers. For that we ordered a cake. Afternoon a meeting was held as our farewell. On that meeting we cut cake and distributed to all the teachers and non teaching staffs. And also we gave laddoo to our beloved students. Both teachers and students give so many gifts to me. It made my day. And it made my day. Second Phase teaching practice was provided me a lot of memories. They are unforgettable experiences in my life. The school and students are so special to me. And the memories will remain forever in my heart. 11/12/2024  marked the last day of teaching practice. My last class make me very sad because I was more font to the children. I felt so happy that the students loved me as a teacher.

WEEK FIVE OF TEACHING PRACTICE

Fifth week of teaching practice starts from 3/12/2024. On the first day the school conducted a drawing competition we student teachers got the opportunity to conduct that.  On this day I got three periods on 8th standard. It was a challenge for me to take three periods. I struggle a lot to manage discipline among students. So it was a hectic day for me. My voice strain has increased by difficulty level in taking classes. On 4/12/2024 and 5/12/202 we student teachers got invitation duty to condyct School unit test. we completed our duty with utmost sincerity. On 6/12/2024 we conducted our physical education practical work yoga practice it was a memorable one for us. After that we got duty to collect attendance sheet and students data.  Because a health nurse came to school for checking all students health level. WEEK FOUR OF TEACHING PRACTICE

  Fourth week starts from 25/11/2024. To the first day was a normal day for me. We student teachers got substitution classes in UP section due to the absence of their teachers. 8th standard I continued the lesson "The Nightingale and the Rose". The students seemed a little bit noisy but I managed to engage them. Some of the students seemed more curious to know about the story of nightingale. 26/11/2024, I conducted diagnostic test in eight standard students, to check the previous knowledge about question tags. And also this day marked the second day of my optional observation. Due to fever I was not confident to take the class. Because my voice was less in sound. But I manage to take the class as good as possible. Sir gave both positive feedbacks and suggestions. On 27/11/2024, I completed the lesson , " The Nightingale and the Rose". WEEK THREE OF TEACHING PRACTICE

Third weeks starts from 18/11/2024. On this day school conducted a model examination of NAS. We student teachers got the oppurtunity to conduct NAS exam. On 19/11/2024 School conducted a prestigious program to honour students who achieved high marks and excellence in the SSLC examination. The chief guest was the Honorable honorable kadakampally Surendran sir. As student  teachers,  we are fortunate enough to witness the event. The program continued till afternoon. This day was a valuable addition to my teaching practice, allowing me to observe how school's celebrate students academic achievements. 20/11/2024, School conducted assembly. Afternoon there is a session held at school on the topic gas and safety it was an informative session. And also this day our general teacher Shiny ma'am came to observe my class on 7th period.
