CRITICISM

As blooming teachers, criticism can profoundly impact students growth and development. As part of a B.Ed curriculum criticism classes were conducted on 26/6/2024 and 27/6/2024. In our criticism classes there are total 14 classes. There are constructivist based classes and teaching on models like concept attainment model, direct instruction model, Advance Organizer model, ICT model and activity lesson plan. After the end of each classes, Our sir and peer group made criticisms and suggestions regarding the class. Providing good introduction, giving proper explanation, usage of teaching aid and models, errors committed during the class were discussed at that time. Proper using of chart, sir recommended some colours to write on chart. and also he preferred using sticks to pointout chart details and not by using our hands. VIDEO SCRIPT- "HOREGALLU"

As a part of B.Ed curriculum we, the English optional students of BNV College of Teacher Education, had the oppurtunity to engage in video scripting. For the video script the students were divided into two groups. our group members were Basith, Arathy, Neena, Anupama, Reshma, Aparna, Sruthi. Our video scripting topic is based on the story " Horegallu " written by Sudha Murti . We first changed the prose text in the form of script. Then the video was shot with the needed props and also with the help of costumes to convey the idea more effectively. All of the group members participated very effectively and efficiently in order to make it a huge success. The field visit to the International Book Festival ( KLIBF) was a captivating and enriching experience. Through this optional field visit, we got more understandings about the variety of books and publicators. Field visit outside the regular classroom provided more understanding about the world of books. It deepebed our knowledge in the field of literature. DISCUSSION LESSONPLAN

 As part of our B.Ed curriculum, we have to do disscussion lesson plans. For that we were divided into three groups. In my group there are 4 members including me. Neena. S, Anupama L. S, Abhijith V Chirayath and Reshma G R. We discussed lessons and wrote lesson plans according to the format. It was a learning phase for all of us. As a collaborative effort it helped to understand our mistakes while writing lessonplans and moreover it encourages to write lesson plans individually. All of them equally participated in the group activity. It encourages collaboration, critical thinking, and the deeper understanding of the subject matter. Rather than passively receiving information, all the members participated in the learning process. When planning a discussion, we naturally considered various viewpoints and angles. SUPW Socially useful productive work is an educational concept that emphasis practical and hands-on learning experience with a focus on contributing to society. It also encourage creativity and holistic development of students. It encourages students to engage in activities that are not only academically enriching but also socially beneficial. This can include community service, environmental initiatives, skill development programmes, and other and endeavours that make a positive impact on the community. The goal is to nurture a sense of social responsibility and empathy among learners while developing practical skills that extend beyond the traditional classroom setting.  As part of B.
